We’re well ahead of you. That’s why we separated the barber shop and tattoo shop into two sections. It’s separated by a wall with windows that we can open up for events and parties. We have powerful extraction fans removing hair from the barber area and, just to be careful, from the tattoo area too. We are also fully licensed to do haircuts and tattoos. Our tattoo shop is run to the highest hygiene standards too. Check out our hygiene page to find out more.
Afraid not. Our barbers have decided that we will only cut people over the age of 12 years old.
We’re a modern barber shop and so want to concentrate on offering the best in men’s styles in Shanghai. BUT we do offer a limited selection of cuts to women, please check our services page for more info. We’re also really happy to recommend our friend’s hair salons that are way better than us at women’s hair cuts.
Yes! Tattoos hurt.
Nah. Suck it up.
We have everything you need in the shop to help look after your new tattoo. We’ll give you an aftercare sheet to take home to help you remember what to do.
Most likely yes. We’re really busy and can have a waiting list of over a month. Tattoos last the rest of your life, don’t rush it. Pick a shop you like and wait. You’ll be happier in the long run.
Repeat Customers always get discount. Coming back for your 2nd, 3rd, 4th tattoo always makes us happy! We know you like our work and you’re satisfied with your tattoo, so when you’re happy, we’re happy and when we’re happy we’re generous! Remember it’s never a good idea to negotiate with your tattoo artist!
HELL NO! We are here to give you the perfect tattoo. If that means we have to turn away shitty ideas now and again we will. What we will do is cover or retouch your old tattoo, if you think that’s completely necessary. But have you considered that your tattoo is a part of you? You get older, so does the tattoo. It should remind you of a time and a place in your life even if it was a stupid time and a stupid place, it represents who you were!
Short answer, yes. You will have to find a hospital that has a tattoo removal laser. The process can be very painful and expensive. Usually a reputable hospital (be sure that the operator is properly trained, tattoo studios in China won’t be) will charge by the centimeter, this could cost anything from 800RMB to 1400RMB per cm!! You will have to sit through several sessions spaced around 6 weeks apart. So the best solution is to CHOOSE YOUR TATTOO WISELY OR DON’T GET ONE!
Short answer ‘no’. We will not tattoo you if you’re high or drunk. In our experience you’re going to be a pain in the arse to tattoo. You bleed more, fidget and are generally annoying. Don’t be that guy, think about how much worse your hangover will be if you’ve got a reminder of it for the rest of your life.
Afraid not. There are loads of shit shops in Shanghai that will look after you, but why risk it? Wait till your 18 and let a pro look after you.
